At a glance
Short, on site, at the right time.
The method
Train, then hand over.
Train the key users
Before configuration, key users and the IT department are trained on every module and on configuration: they are the ones who will validate it.
Prepare the plan
Galeon proposes a training plan, agreed with the hospital about a month in advance; groups follow staff rotas.
Train each profession
On site, by profession, in small groups, less than three weeks before go-live: what is learned is used the next day. Attendance sheet and a reminder sheet for everyone.
Support go-live
At go-live, the Galeon team is on the wards: a question in the middle of a shift gets answered on the spot.
Hand over
The hospital’s key users train new staff, with the e-learning supplied by Galeon. A satisfaction survey closes every session.
What clinicians say
A short training is enough.
“It’s very intuitive. [...] We had a quick one-hour training session.”
“It flows well; the four hours of training were enough.”
