Clinicians and engineers, since 2016.
Galeon is a French company, founded in 2016 in Annecy by Dr Loïc Brotons, an anaesthetist and intensivist, and his co-founders. It makes an electronic health record (EHR) used today in 19 hospitals in France, by more than 10,000 clinicians.

Why Galeon exists
Galeon is rebuilding hospitals’ digital infrastructure to make medical data usable, shared and secure. A patient record that structures information as it is entered gives time back to clinicians today, and makes data-driven medicine possible tomorrow.
The Galeon EHR began in obstetrics and gynaecology, with a mother-and-child record deployed notably at Caen University Hospital and Chalon-sur-Saône hospital. Today it covers every specialty in the hospital, with LAP-certified prescribing support, HDS and ISO 27001 certified hosting, and AI that works under clinicians’ validation.
