Dr. Loïc Brotons is a visionary leader at the crossroads of medicine and technology. As a medical doctor specialized in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, he spent several years working within Sweden’s healthcare system, gaining firsthand experience in high-pressure clinical environments. This experience highlighted the importance of efficient, accessible, and secure patient data management, which inspired him to found Galeon in 2016.
Loïc’s passion lies in transforming healthcare systems through technology. He led Galeon’s development of an advanced Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, integrating AI and blockchain to improve interoperability, patient care, and data security. Under his leadership, Galeon has become a trusted partner for hospitals and healthcare providers, with 16 hospitals successfully deploying its solutions.
Loïc holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, specializing in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. During his medical training, he developed an early interest in the intersection of healthcare and technology, pursuing additional studies in data science to bridge the gap between medicine and innovative technologies.
His academic foundation also includes specialized training in blockchain systems and cybersecurity, which he applied to design Galeon’s proprietary Hacker Defense Protection (HDP) system. This dual expertise in clinical medicine and technology underpins his mission to create secure, patient-focused healthcare solutions.
